Citizens Bank calls 20th AGM on Ashwin 28, agenda includes approving 4 percent dividend
Citizens Bank has called its 20th Annual General Meeting on Ashwin 28 in Kathmandu. The meeting will approve a total 4 percent dividend (3.80 percent bonus and 0.20 percent cash) for fiscal year 2082/83. Book closure is set for Ashwin 19.
Kathmandu — Citizens Bank has called its 20th Annual General Meeting. The bank's board of directors meeting decided to hold the meeting on Ashwin 28. The meeting will begin at 11 AM at Amritbhog in Dillibazar, Kathmandu.
The meeting will approve a proposal to distribute a total 4 percent dividend on the current paid-up capital to shareholders for the last fiscal year 2082/83. This includes 3.80 percent bonus shares and 0.20 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The main agendas of the meeting are as follows:
- Approve the proposal to increase issued and paid-up capital after bonus share distribution.
- Authorize the board of directors to make necessary amendments, including additions or deletions, to the memorandum of association as per any directives received from regulatory bodies.
- Approve the annual and auditor's report for the last fiscal year.
- Pass the consolidated financial statements including the financial statements of the bank's subsidiary companies for the last fiscal year.
- Approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and determination of their remuneration for the current fiscal year 2083/84.
For dividend and meeting purposes, the bank has decided to close the books on Ashwin 19. This means only shareholders holding shares until Ashwin 19 will be eligible to receive the bank's dividend and participate in the meeting.
