Citizens Bank announces 4 percent dividend
Citizens Bank has announced a total dividend of 4 percent for fiscal year 2082/83. This includes 3.80 percent bonus shares and 0.20 percent cash dividend. The proposed dividend will be distributed after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the upcoming annual general meeting.
Kathmandu. Citizens Bank has announced a dividend for fiscal year 2082/83.
The bank's board of directors, in a meeting held this afternoon, decided to distribute a total dividend of 4 percent to shareholders from the distributable profit of that fiscal year, based on the current paid-up capital of Rs 15 arba 50 crore 74 lakh 63 thousand 614.
The declared dividend includes the following:
- 3.80 percent bonus shares — equivalent to Rs 58 crore 92 lakh 83 thousand 617.34
- 0.20 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes) — equivalent to Rs 3 crore 10 lakh 14 thousand 927.23
The bank stated that the proposed dividend will be distributed to shareholders after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the upcoming annual general meeting.
