Businessman Shankar Lal Agrawal Released on Rs 1 Million Bail
Businessman Shankar Lal Agrawal, who had appealed to the Supreme Court against the High Court's order to remand him to custody in a banking offense case, has been released on Rs 1 million bail. A Supreme Court bench overturned the High Court's order and ordered his release on bail.
Kathmandu. Businessman Shankar Lal Agrawal, who had appealed to the Supreme Court against the High Court's order to remand him to custody in a banking offense case, has been released on Rs 1 million bail.
A joint bench of Supreme Court justices Bal Krishna Dhakal and Nripadhwaj Niraula overturned the High Court's order and ordered his release on bail.
Earlier, the High Court had ordered Agrawal to be remanded to custody in the banking offense case, against which he appealed to the Supreme Court. With the Supreme Court's decision, he has now been released on bail.
