13 bodies recovered today from Upper Trishuli-1 tunnel, search ongoing
In the search for workers of the Upper Trishuli-1 hydropower project who went missing after the Bhotekoshi flood, 13 bodies were found today inside the Adit-3 tunnel. According to the Nepal Army, search operations inside the tunnel are still ongoing.

Kathmandu — In the search for workers of the Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project who went missing after the Bhotekoshi flood, 13 bodies were found today.
A joint rescue team including representatives of the project found the bodies trapped in a mesh of iron rebar woven for lining inside the Adit-3 tunnel.
The rescue team said it used cutting equipment and rescue techniques to bring the bodies out of the tunnel. According to the Nepal Army, search operations inside the tunnel are still ongoing.
